Why Fiber and Spermidine?
Four of the five MindTrex ingredients are dietary fibers: Pea Starch, Baobab Fiber, L-Arabinose, and Konjac Glucomannan. Rather than targeting the brain directly, these fibers support the gut microbiome — the community of bacteria in the digestive tract — that communicates with the brain through the gut-brain axis.
Spermidine is a naturally occurring polyamine found in foods like wheat germ, soy, and mushrooms. It is the most researched ingredient in the formula, with published studies exploring its role in autophagy (cellular self-cleaning) and its potential connection to healthy brain aging. The research is ongoing; the findings cited on this site relate to spermidine as a compound, not to MindTrex as a product.
